2,500 total miles, approx. 80% running, the balance rucking as I work up to my Brooks range grizzly hunt in May.

A couple trail hundos.
Do you know which hundreds? I'm waiting on a few lotteries this month, but did Crazy Mountain 100 last year and had a great time.

LoVIT - February
Mogollon - September

I may also try a supported FKT on the centennial trail. TBD.

BH 50k in June, just to get my custom buffalo skull for completing all 4 race distances.

I've heard really good things about Crazy Mountain. What lotteries are you waiting on? Best of luck on your year!

That's a good amount of running miles. The most I've ever done in a year was a little over 1,100. You're looking at more like 2,000. Best of luck!

Thank you, appreciate it.

I've averaged 2.300 for each of the last 3 years. That amount feels like the minimum to be able to handle hundos without completely falling apart.

Nice!! I'm waiting on Leadville, High Lonesome, UTMB, and Wasatch. Threw my name in multiple, with Bighorn as a potential backup. That one is a bit too early (June) for a mountain race to get a solid training block in - snow usually takes awhile to melt and provide access to trails.

March 1 I'm doing my first gravel cycling race, BWR Arizona - I'm doing the 103 mile distance. It has been fun to add in cycling over the winter to mix it up a bit.

currently working on putting on lean muscle started last year but got delayed a bit from a car wreck.
6’1.5

I was 200lb and skinny fat in Dec 23, cut down to 170 now 180 w/creatine water weight. I want to be 185-190 fall 2025 and at current fat percent or less.

For life longevity and just usefulness in the field I think I need more muscle on my frame. It’s not really about the exact weight, just a way to tell I’ve put muscle mass on. Super skinny worked when I was young but I’m concerned about injuries as I age.

Wow that's quite a list. All high quality, tough races. I'd like to do Wasatch some day...Heaven and Hell, right?

I did Bighorn in 2023. You can adequately train for that race, if I was able to do it as a flatlander. But keep this in mind...the Bighorn mud is notorious for being an ass-kicker. I had wet feet from mile 5 to the finish.

One week in, workouts have been good. Outdoor cardio has been hit or miss with our winter weather. Buddy told me to try to do 100 burpees in 10 minutes if I was looking for a good cardio burst. I got 96 in 10 minutes and was roasted. Haven’t done a burpee in years.

Diet is coming around, but not where I want it. Kids finally going back to school so I can have some normalcy and consistency. Them being home is bad for my diet. I’m trying to stay around 2000-2200 calories and 180-220 grams of protein. 3 birthdays this month in my immediate family too, so I’ll have a little cake but make sure to keep it at “a little”

Weight is down 2 lbs, started at 198, 196 this morning.

What the hell, might as well hop on board!
After having our son via c-section last fall, I gotta get in gear and get better than I ever was before.
Goals:
- Healthier weight, want to get back to about 135lbs (felt great when I was there before and still was able to packout heavy comfortably)
- Get back to running - hoping to complete a mountain trail half marathon this June
- Healthier body fat to muscle ratio
- Regain lost strength plus some (add 20lb to pre-pregnancy squat PR, be able to comfortably bench 30lbs more than my previous PR)
- Rebuild endurance to a better place than before

And the biggest thing: to complete as many hiking miles as I possibly can with my husband, our son, and our blue heeler crew!
