Had my first year out with my Irish Setter/Golden Retriever Mix.

She did great for being minimally trained and just focused on getting her on birds having fun this year.

Never gets old. Avery is coming 3 this month and impresses me more everytime I turn her loose.

Lil fella (Boone) carried the team this past weekend with my golden on the IR. 109.2 miles in 2.5 days and ready for more. Ran him with my buddies new GSP and they were on fire!

Quail were not real cooperative, but the dogs hunted their asses off. They are 2 and 3 years old. We have made progress this year.

His 7th birthday was a pretty good day.

2 Days hunting for us in 0 deg temps. First walk one covey and a rooster. The rest of the trip was entirely void of birds. I've never covered so much ground in a 40 mile area and not found so much as a hen pheasant.
