2023 Bird and Dog pics

Game changer. Hard to tell in pics but there was about a foot on the level.

Field Bred English Cocker- She's a great family member around the house, and hunts with full afterburners. Truly a "pocket rocket" at 26lbs.
Dude that lil dog is so cool! A true field cocker is the only dog I'd consider adding to the team, have literally only seen exceptional ones... they definitely have a whole nother gear compared to the larger flushing breeds.

I had no idea she would be as bird obsessed as she is. I grew up with big, rangy pointers who loved to hunt, but the thrill of seeing her burn through cover with that tail a blur is about as much fun as I can have bird hunting! I definitely appreciate a good point and honor, but working her with my dad's Pudelpointer is a blast- they're about as yin and yang as you could find, but compliment each other in their respective strengths and weaknesses.

Closed out 2023 with a quick morning quail hunt. Shot absolutely terrible, but managed to scratch down 4, which is enough. Pup did good and we didn't lose any dead birds.
