Saw it here first.... grabbed these screenshots off the Born and Raised Idaho videos. First changes I notice are 3000 c.i., stretchy pocket zipper access is gone - access is top again, different buckle style and roll top buckles on the sides instead of back on itself. Also some sort of zipper access you see right behind Speck's head, maybe a hydration pocket??

Almost looks like a panel loader with a sleeve pocket where the stretchy material is with a 2k roll top, also shorter side pockets like a 2k. Wonder if it’s the 3500 dimensions. Still not sold on it but till we see better pics and get specs it’s all speculation.

The pocket you see behind Steve’s Head is probably the same pocket on the 2k that is in that spot.

In one of the photos you can see the top is open into the stretch pocket like the original packs. Also, you can see the "texture" of a Therm-a-rest Z-seat that's crammed into it. I think it looks like a slightly smaller pack in the side profile picture.

Yeah I notice that after I posted that. Really it seems similar to the 2k minus the external zippered pocket for a sleeve and possibly a larger dimension overall.

We definitely have been loving some of the prototypes we have been testing.

More I look at it I wonder if it isn’t an updated/replacement 2k which is close to 3k overall and they just changed the name. Width seems a little bit more though but depth doesn’t.

Being impatient isn't doing me any favors - I sold my 1st gen last month and I'm hoping that waiting for the 2019 packs will be worth it! Dragging the wife down to Portland in February so I can put hands on the new packs...

Just remember testers and the company will always say it is worth waiting for their new release 😂. I still think the 2k is their best layout, now if they just kept it yet made it a little bigger with full side sleeve pockets (use the crib panel design so the fusion material can be used on side pockets vs the tan stretchy stuff with a draw cord top) they would get me to spend more money but from what I see it isn’t interesting me but I hope they sell the crap out of them.

Ha! They absolutely will sell a ton and for good reason, exo has certainly made a name for themselves with the quality packs they have put out. That 1st gen served me extremely well but I need that roll top to stretch me a few more days.
