2018 Mule Deer Meat Pole

I had a great trip to Idaho hunting mule deer this season. It was awesome! This deer was the best pack out I've had yet. Hard work and tons of fun!

Here is my first archery mule deer.

He’s a total Forkenstein...

Taken in Utah after watching him for 2 days and a 5.5 hour stalk Everything came together.
It’s my trophy.

Looks like a thousand lakes buck. They got a huge 2 point gene.

Burned a handful of points in Wyoming this year and was rewarded with this public land buck. I had hoped for an average 4X4 but figured this guy would have to do.

This thread has me itching. I leave November 5 for a week in Colorado chasing them around. We’ve shot 3 over 170 and 2 in the high 50’s in the last 2 years with 3 hunters. Only reason we don’t have 4 over 170 is one of the guys missed one at 250. Hoping they’re turned on and chasing when we get there.

Utah general season. Hunted solo this year it was a grind to get him and camp out but very rewarding experience!!

Took him with 6.5 CR 143 eldx at 414 yards.
