4th Season Colorado Jacket Recommendation

Going to Colorado for 4th season. I currently have the King's Camo XKG Down Transition Jacket as a puffy and a SKRE hardscrabble jacket. Looking for a recommendation for another outer jacket that I can layer under when glassing.

That's a consideration, I may need to go up a size in jacket so looking for another addition.

You should be fine, I have the hardscrabble & puffies, wear a 250 grm merino or something and should be plenty good, I’ll bring some puffy pants for extended sits if it’s super cold

I mean It depends where you go but the kings down jacket layered under the KUIU guide DCS with a good merino base/mid layer could easily get you glassing below 10° given you have good boots, gloves and pant layers already. I’ve also heard and seen good things about the firstlite uncompaghre and Sitka ambient jacket although I’d recommend the kuiu.

I use a blaze orange Patagonia air nano hoody over a base layer and a vest. It’s worked well for the past few seasons.
