Spring 2019 Oregon bear. I specifically bear hunt the drainages where I elk hunt in the fall to do a little of my own predator management. This is my second bear from this drainage and it's deep; NOT fun packing animals out, haha. Doesn't hurt that spring bear tastes amazing too! Also found a good pile of sheds.

Fall bear in Washington, just a one night trip two bears. One bear the first evening, second bear after morning hunt on the way back down the trail to go home. We ending up not being able to carry down all the meat, fat and hides in one trip because the trail was to rough. Stayed a extra night and got the rest the next day.

Got this one in new Hampshire with a flintlock I built. Seventh bear I saw in a bout six hours.

Really makes me happy to see people get it done in the Northeast.... people sleep on the country up there

Look pretty wet! East or west side bears? With how much i hate petting a wet dog i dont think id much enjoy skinning that soggy bear in the lower pic.

There's a lot more hunting up here than people think. Lots of rugged mountains, no people and game.
