How old is he now? I first brought my boy out when he was 7, some of the best time we've spent together was up in the mountains.

First picture is at about a mile away last September in CO, closed to 20 yards and a single .45-70 gave me the chance to take rest of the pictures. First September targeting bears specifically, definitely not my last.

Here’s my Montana 2019 bear. Pretty typical spring bear hunt lots of glassing followed by a mad scramble to get to him before he moved and finally a very late night packing him out.

My 2018 California chocolate waterfall boar. Skull was 19 5/16".

Spring 2019 Oregon bear. I specifically bear hunt the drainages where I elk hunt in the fall to do a little of my own predator management. This is my second bear from this drainage and it's deep; NOT fun packing animals out, haha. Doesn't hurt that spring bear tastes amazing too! Also found a good pile of sheds.
