2018 Bear Success Thread

Alberta bow hunt from a ground blind sadly lost the hide of the smaller one due to slippage.

Is this the thread where we will keep adding 2020 bears? If not, let's fire up a new one or rename this bad boy.

If so, I'll throw mine in with my bear I got two nights ago. Probably a 5'8"ish sow. Spot and stalk in some good and rugged stuff. Beautiful thick chocolate coat. Shot with my 300 WSM at 323 yrds with the brake and new mag from @HellsCanyon

Only 11 bears have been shot in Wyoming in 2020, so I hope more folks around the west start laying 'em down and tossing photos in the thread!

That's a great bear. I'm headed to POW in September this year for my first Alaska hunt. I'm hoping to connect on one in this category. This is the kind of post that keeps me excited about this trip.

Fall hunt is a blast, just make sure you take your time, alot of sows on the water that time of year.
