2016 shot show

Browtinemt. MR says the frame bags will only be sold as a kit. It was a logistical mess tryin to go al a cart and only a small percentage of customers were buying that way. So that's the word

That's Robby, honestly though that's a ****ing joke.... What's the point of a modular system if you have to buy frames every time. Pretty disappointing, was looking forward to grabbing a pintler.

Honestly I'm not sure who is calling the shots at MR but they have made a couple shitty decisions as of late, at least in my eyes.

I hope MR changes their mind on only selling full packs and not frames and bags individually. I'm got a few MR packs currently that I'm very happy with and the new frame was pretty interesting to me. I really don't understand how it was a logistical nightmare to sell pieces separately.

Tips&tails7, Browtinemt, and TheTone, sounds like MR needs to hear directly from you. Maybe that "small percentage" of customers isn't so small.

Farm to Feet is a 100% made in America company. Very cool story. Check out their website for more info. Www.farmtofeet.com

I recently bought and used a couple pair of their socks, I also have give a few pair away as gifts.
These are very very nicely made products.

Hit the Cooper booth yesterday specifically to see this gun. They teased us with it at SHOT 2015, but it is here now and ready for order to deliver in late spring.

I held and tried the gun for about 20 minutes. It was topped with a 4.5-14x42 Leuopold (I think those scopes are around 20 ounces-chime in if you know) and it handled very well. Quick snap to the shoulder, good check weld for me with fast sight acquisition and of course, lightweight!

At 5.75 lbs naked in a belted magnum, I think you guys are going to be happy. The muzzle-brake is removable but at that weight, I don't want to be the first to try it without. btw, the gun weighs 92 ounces, hence the model number

Available in all calibers from the standard up to the belted magnums (including .338) and coming in under $3,000 with their 1/2 MOA guarantee, this gun is going to rock the lightweight gun world.

Looks like Rokslide prostaffer, Matt Wymer, will be testing this gun in Alaska for Dall sheep later this year, so we'll have at least a pre-review up soon after he receives his gun. But if you like the gun, don't wait for the review. Cooper is a solid company and I'd trust buying one now if I were in the market. Here's a video with Mike Hudgins of Cooper.

Anything new coming from DeLorme that should stop me from placing an order for an Explorer?
No new hardware. Their app is really cool though, and they are adding weather in the near future. You'll be able get up to date weather on your device or phone, directly from the satellite, even if you don't have cell service. They also have public/ private info on their maps.

That sounds cool. I assume all of it will be compatible with currently sold units? Sounds like I need to place my order.
Thank you!!

I believe them. Once you are dealing with production batches and importing everything becomes a nightmare.
once everything is settled and they work the bugs out I'm sure they will have bag only options again.

At the Nevada Sportsmen Unlimited Banquet at the Gold Coast Casino with 20 copies of Hunting Big Mule Deer on hand. You can come with your own book for signing, or pick one up here. You don't have to attend the banquet but if you're all about Nevada's wildlife, it's a great cause and $60 bucks gets you in the auction/dinner- Filet Mignon on the menu and I see some killer auction items on the tables. I'm here until 6:30 PM.

Funny you say that, I just emailed them last night, expressing my displeasure and interest in bags only. We will see what the response is next week.
