Gas string help

Got a new gas string put on my bow and after some shots noticed the string weights sliding each way toward my cams. Any quick fixes to this as bow season starts in 2 weeks and warranty set is out of the picture. Factory string is also unusable. Thanks!

You can serve at the top of the weight to see if that stops them from sliding, I have done it with dental floss in a pinch as it gets down in between the serving material.

Is there separation in the wraps?

Contact gas, they should make it right and throwing on a string wouldn't be a big deal as far as shooting, reference all setting and replacing the string with the same string would have you really close if not back dead on.

Do those weights have to be in a exact spot in order to get consistent arrow flight?

Emailed gas but this happened yesterday so I won't hear until Monday.

I would call!

Those weights moving can mess up tune and a huge problem if they slide up into cam track!

I think they're just standard nock points under shrink wrap. Get them in the right spot and squeeze with pliers

GAS will send you a new string. You can lock them down where they are but best performance is gained having them in the right spot; maybe a cpl fps.

Just move them to the correct position and crimp them with a needle nose pliers.

Crimping them is not going to work well with a serving that is slipping already.
