Western Conservation & Hunting Expo 2025 thread

We went to the Cole Hartley concert tonight after the banquet and it was really good. I’ve heard him a few times on country radio and he is legit live!

They gave away a couple of Weatherby 307’s tonight at the banquet (in 7mm Backcountry). I’m gonna stop by their booth and learn more about this new offering.

If you run into Dan Gates ask him why CRWM doesn't want to use funds to introduce a Right to Hunt/Fish/Forage in CO ballot measure in CO.
Hey man, I did ask him. He said there’s no way at this point they’re gonna pass the 55% vote needed to get it passed.

It’s a losing battle right now and we need to win more offensive battles (not just one defensive battle ) before go down this road.

Hoping to have him on the podcast here in the next month We’ll talk about it more.

That makes perfect sense thanks for the clarification.

That’s awesome! Thanks!

I strongly feel he is wrong… I think with careful wording trying in fishing/gathering (if it doesn’t violate the one topic rule) or even just hunting it is a very doable win. It ain’t going to get better if we wait, that’s not the direction the state is headed.
