2014 Kifaru Nomad

I know I'm not Aron, but I thought I'd help out here...

Bikini frame (26" black) - 2lb 5oz
Nomad pack - 2lb
Camp Bag (latest from Aron) - 12oz

5lb 1oz overall for that setup :)

haha..i just GOT my DT2!!

for the record..i just bought an iphone5s yesterday..so expect the iphone 6 to be announced sometime next week :D

I've been a fan of the T2 since it came out. With that said, I am going to order a Nomad. The T2 isn't going anywhere...YET. Will put the Nomad through it's paces this fall on several hunts, so should have a good idea which one I like better by NEXT winter.

Honestly, if I was ordering just one today, it would probably be the Nomad for its versatility.

The bad part, 2015 Kifaru gear comes out.... It's an endless cycle. Companies need to stop making innovations like this

I think I will stay with my bikini 7000 for now although the new packs are awesome still have yet to really put the pack it's paces only about 40 miles on it.

I think it is hilarious that guys are ditching their one year old packs just to get the newest thing which won't be the newest next year. I saw a post on here that somebody is selling their brand new highcamp. Really? Not even going to try it out for a season and see if you like it?

^winner.

For 2 years I have been on the verge of buying a kifaru pack. I was going to buy a T1 then I decided on a BT2 now I can't make up my mind on the EMR ll or the Nomad. One of them two packs will be bought this year. I won't be going into the mtns with my ilbe another year. Its getting demoted to my workout pack.

I am not planning to part with my DT2. The nomad would be a good choice, but it looks like it will get too wide (at least for me). My blue widow had that issue when everything was full. I like the fact the DT2 stays narrower. Now I've only had the DT2 a week but loading it up multiple times and also taking a hike this weekend has it off to an excellent start. The duplex frame is awesome for me. The t2 pack fits my hunting style better. The great about kifaru is there is a bag for every hunting style!

Yeah, Really. A brand new bag HC 7000 should bring a good price & pay for most of a new Nomad. I do see your point though, we should put more miles on the HC,we might be surprised to find out its a bag with cinch straps! Could be that some of us cant imagine a more versatile set up than the Nomad & accessories & as great as the HC is, it just doesn't have that versatility. You know they use the same frames right? So its true some would blindly sell our High Camps & buy Nomads & have blind faith in Kifaru. Just like we did when we bought our High Camps & the Kifaru packs we had before them. But please, feel free to chime in with more of your insights! We are all anxiously waiting!
