2 weeks from desert sheep opener.

Decided to shoot my 1955 mod. 70, .270, vx5 leupold. My son will carry my new 6.5prc. Dad built this gun for me, I killed a bull in 1970, grizz, moose, bou and 300 deer. Super excited, mandatory meeting in sac. For the sheep. Camp@12,800 feet. Lost 20 lbs. Turn 65 in 4 days, this is my oil...

He does have a great tag line, although more drawn out than “Suck it”, but he is at least 75 pages behind and there is no way the flat brim generation has the grit and determination of boomer Bob ROAL Reaper.

As someone who WAS present on the mountain and witnessed this shooter (definitely NOT a “hunter”) first-hand on the hunt I can DEFINITELY say that there is without a doubt a level of embellishment to his story. The same story appeared in the California wild sheep foundation publication last spring…. Kind of made my skin crawl.

I don't doubt it. I was expecting much more ROAL exploits

I saw all the rams before all the guides. They learned a lot about sheep from me
Scaled the mountain and had to wait for them all the time... etc
