Decided to shoot my 1955 mod. 70, .270, vx5 leupold. My son will carry my new 6.5prc. Dad built this gun for me, I killed a bull in 1970, grizz, moose, bou and 300 deer. Super excited, mandatory meeting in sac. For the sheep. Camp@12,800 feet. Lost 20 lbs. Turn 65 in 4 days, this is my oil...

As someone who WAS present on the mountain and witnessed this shooter (definitely NOT a “hunter”) first-hand on the hunt I can DEFINITELY say that there is without a doubt a level of embellishment to his story. The same story appeared in the California wild sheep foundation publication last spring…. Kind of made my skin crawl.

I don't doubt it. I was expecting much more ROAL exploits

I saw all the rams before all the guides. They learned a lot about sheep from me
Scaled the mountain and had to wait for them all the time... etc
