Thanks and For sure! I got in pretty decent shape for the moose hunt we did in October but I’ve still got about 20 pounds I can cut to be where I want to be.
awesome man pumped to see the results of your hunts. I tell all my Arizona sheep clients to just walk a lot it seems to help a ton prior to putting on a pack.

Settled on a new 7 mag for my upcoming hunt.

So far the Winchester Super-X Power-Point 7 mm REM mag ammo is shooting the best for me which I’m fine with as I’ve always shot that ammo for my 30-06.

Question, currently shooting the 175 grain load through it but debating if I should take it down to the 150s? Feel like 150 should plenty for a sheep but I always like a heavier bullet. I shoot 180s out of my 30-06 since we hunt nilgai down where I am. I don’t hand load so just going with factory rounds. Any thoughts?

^ Are you going to be bear hunting at all while you're up there? If grizzly is on the menu (along with sheep) maybe consider the 175's, if not 150 gr is more than enough for sheep–some would argue it's enough for grizzlies as well

No sir. Grizzlies or other bears will not be on the menu, but caribou will be when I head to the NWT

Another thing that you can use is a stair machine or a treadmill at max incline, most gyms probably have both or something similar.

Been doing the MTNtough minimum gear Bulletproof series and just getting into week 12 of it. Has been an awesome program these last 3 months and I can tell my cardio had improved significantly and down about 10 pounds the last few Months.

Still got a lot of work to be where I wanna be, but definitely moving in the right direction.
