I can definitely say I am not jealous of this guy and his amazing tag. That’s because I have my own near impossible to draw sheep tag but lucky for me I only had 11 pts, it’s not at 14K and I didn’t have to drop 25. One thing I have learned in my short 54 years is being humble is a rare personality trait but a good one to have. Seriously, I hope this guy, who has had so much experience in life and hunting, finds a way to enjoy this hunt and make some great memories.

It's safe to say that if your motivation is trying to impress or brag on monster muley's or Rokslide, you might be in it for the wrong reasons. If you really have to kill 30 does a year, maybe take some folks hunting and share your love for the outdoors. Dude does have a lot of mounts on the wall but that doesn't equate to a happy or fulfilled life. My grandmother always said "It takes all kinds of folks to make a world."

Drew a9 bow in x5b, and after 38 years I drew the whites sheep tag. Beyond grateful. Both open the same day so sheep first then cruise up 395 to x5b. Sweet!!!!

If I remember correctly, he bought it as a back up.

Most people were telling him to change the scope out on his .270 to something more reliable and that is was all that “needed” to be done. So instead of spending 1000 dollars on a tried and true scope for the .270, he went and spent 1000 dollars on a whole new setup incase his current set up fails that could have been mitigated by just getting a better scope.

True, I don't disagree he's a douche. I think his team moving on is more about his age and they're inability to win the big one. Tom Brady is a dick and everyone knows it. He won, so they put up with it.

8 hours tiĺ sheep mandatory meeting, then 7 days till sheep opener. I know of 4/6 sheep's tags. Not at all concerned. Tag 1, 320lbs no concern. Tag# 2. 80 yo., Tag #3, never shot big game before. Ok game on.
