Of these three choices, which bullet would you go with? This will be in a 7 Mag. I have all three bullets, haven’t shot the Eldx yet, but the AccuBond groups probably the best. It will be primarily used for larger game such as a mule deer and elk and I intend to use it on an upcoming aoudad hunt this fall. Which bullet do y’all think I should go with? Thanks

unless you've got quite a stockpile of accubonds, I'd go ELD-X. Accubonds have been near impossible to get for a couple years now.

AB for first choice and the ELD-X for a close second.
ELD-X as a first choice if I am stretching things out distance wise.
I have killed mule deer and elk with the ELD-X (175 grain 7mm and 143 grain 6.5)

This! If you can get your hands on some Accubonds, they'd be my #1 choice of those bullets.

I’ve got to thinking, I also shoot a 6.5 PRC which is rocking the 156 Berger right now, shooting around 2800 fps, would a 160 grain bullet even be that much of a step up or maybe should I look at a higher grain bullet?

Thanks for the replies everyone. I went out to the range yesterday just to do some testing, mainly with Berger, but decided to load up few AccuBond that we had laying around.first load I tried ended up shooting a 0.495 3 shot group. I’ve been a berger fan Boy but figured if the accubond shoot this good maybe I should hunt with them. But as mentioned above, very hard to find and pricy when you do.

Berger. The 168s have been extremely effective on game IME.
Those 168 Bergers do have a pretty good reputation for killin stuff, not to mention they shoot extremely well, so that'd be my vote as well.

I'd vote accubond because I have the best results from those. I cannot get my 30-06 to like any of the ELD-X bullets and that's okay because I'm a little scared of them blowing to pieces at short ranges. Granted, this is just from my research and no first hand experience with terminal performance. I don't have too many long shots so toughness is a main factor for me. Hard to try and convince myself to get away from the 0.6" groups with the accubonds too.

These bullets have worked good for me.

143 ELD-X at 350ish with a MV of 2818 fps

Right at 300 yards with the 143 ELD-X

175 grain ELD-X with a MV of 2900 fps (Under 250 yards)

Three elk all taken under 275 yards with the 175 grain ELD-X. One was just under 100 yards

For those of you who have been shooting the ELDX, what has the accuracy been like in 7 mag?
