Tikka is the only answer you’ll get here. I don’t have any evidence to the contrary though. They keep testing them in various ways and the Tikka’s keep winning out.
- don’t usually require bedding because of lug design
- still functional and safe in extreme cold and ice where Rem700’s aren’t...
Kind of wish the MK12 was part of this test. Been admiring that one for a while. If you were building a new AR would you change anything from that one?
Thanks for heads up. I guess we’ll see who else will chime in. I don’t think it will be a problem, but felt like I should ask around since the reticle is kind of dependent on it.
Hello,
I just bought one of these and the illumination is very well done. I don’t particularly love using illumination, but the reticle in this scope is so thin that you almost have to use it in some scenarios.
Has anyone had any problems with the illumination in these scopes? I’d hate for it...
We have some of the new Tundras where I work. They have various issues, but nothing powertrain related. These are first year models so some issues to be expected.
My advice is to wait, I expect a significant deflation in pricing across the board and lower interest rates by end of this year...
I have a 2017 Titan SV 4wd, 50k. I have a work car so it doesn’t get used like some do. Mine has been fine, but if you join the Facebook Titan groups you’ll see it’s really hit and miss with these and the misses are pretty major. They are discontinued at this point so parts are going to get...
Probably not anything top secret or complex. Nothing for Maven to buy a Tenmile or SWFA and take them apart, then ask LOW to build one like it. Maybe a few extra steps added, extra $50-$100 tops on the manufacturers cost. All parts available to use already, nothing custom. Wouldn’t be surprised...
Also thinking bare carbon, but can only find pics of the glossy carbon fiber. I guess it’s not that much different.
What’s grippier? Matte carbon fiber or cerakote?
Seems like bare carbon will be most durable.
What are the opinions/favorites for the bipod attachment types? I don’t use a bipod currently. I don’t really have plans to, but want to pick a good option since the stock comes that way. Right now I’m leaning towards the pic/sparten. I know arca’s pretty popular too, but doesn’t seem to fit the...
Yeah, new bottom metal doesn’t gain anything, but cost more than a really nice scope mount. I haven’t contacted UM about the BDL inlet, could be a custom option.
I’ve only got a Rem700 and a Bergara so was hoping to be able to use the BDL bottom metal, but alas M5 inlet only right now. I’ll have to wait it out or see if they can do it.. Not opposed to running a mag, but that’s another $250-300 I’d have to drop making the Rokstok a $1000 stock for me. A...
I love it when people on forums post self righteously about using the search feature when people ask a question. At least half of this thread is BS rhetoric and there’s probably 20+ posts referencing room for dead cats. And no, I didn’t use the search feature for dead cat references, I’m just...
