Trijicon 3-18x44 Tenmile Illumination question

Hello,

I just bought one of these and the illumination is very well done. I don’t particularly love using illumination, but the reticle in this scope is so thin that you almost have to use it in some scenarios.

Has anyone had any problems with the illumination in these scopes? I’d hate for it to go out, because I’m not sure how well I’d like it without it.

I bought a 2nd one from sportsman warehouse. The illumination didn't work. I tried a few dif battery's as well as the 1 that came with. Wasn't sure what was happening but they replaced it. Totally forgot about that issue til seeing this thread.

ETA I run my ten mile around 5-6x but have used the illum a few mornings it definitely helps pick up the reticle and I'd go as far to say that it's needed in low light. It's very small at 3x.

Thanks for heads up. I guess we’ll see who else will chime in. I don’t think it will be a problem, but felt like I should ask around since the reticle is kind of dependent on it.
