Colorado Elk and Bear combo
How many of you guys out there actually get the bear tag to go with the second or third rifle season elk? The "just in case" tag. Is it very common to still see them at the end of October or first week of November? -

I plan on staying at 8000' or above for one of the late season rifle hunts in Colorado this year. I have a Hilleberg Nallo3 GT. I love the tent but have never had it out that late in the year. I have a warm bag and plenty of warm gear. Does not having a stove tent mean the end of the world...- Dammlm

Bought a yeti
Have a Pelican. No rubber latches. Huge drain and solid hinge. I haven't done a side by side test but others have on YouTube and it barely beats a yeti. Way cheaper too!- Dammlm

Gloves!
Looking for a good set of gloves but don't know where to start. It will be late season Colorado and the ever changing Alaska weather (cold and wet). I was looking at Kuiu as I have a few other items but I am open to others if they are in a solid color. What are your good and bad experiences? -

Tikka barrel not fully floated?
If memory serves me correctly there is a molded in contact point in the stock in that general area. Somebody at Tikka must think it should be there. I replaced the stock on mine but if you want to run yours then I say shoot it and see what it does. I have read equal number of articles that argue...
