For anybody interested, we should know whether or not it's going to a draw in 2026 around 130pm tomorrow.

I have two tikka 308 (size M mags).
They have been used but are 100% functional.
Only selling is that I am switching to M+ mags for longer COAL.

Mine did the update in between sessions. Before the update, it missed 1-2 shots out of ~100+ shots. After the update, it missed 2-3 per 10 shots. Same position relative to muzzle
Anybody have any ideas??? Not a huge deal for what I'm doing but it's pretty dang annoying.
What physics? A 67% percent larger bullet doesn’t produce a 67% larger wound channel.
Either way, yes, I am ignoring the “physics”. An elk doesn’t really care if the hole in its side is 4” or 6”. I care that I can more reliably and consistently put said 4” hole in the side of said elk...
If you were to read through the 223, 6mm, and 6.5mm threads, could you tell those wounds weren't caused by a larger caliber bullet? I couldn't.
Could you look a picture of a giant hole through an elk shoulder and be able to if it was from a 6mm 108 ELD-M or a 7mm 180 ELD-M? Not me.
With that...
The pressure was with a LRP at book max. I've played with the seating depths and get more pressure/velocity and higher ES/SD with the bullet seated out long. I backed off the load to try the MLRP but seated at a depth that has been yielding good consistency.
Being that it is a ball powder, I...
Powder has been showing good results. In all honesty, I just started reloading and it is the only powder I have used.
I’m trying the 250s to see if the magnum can get the ES/SD down. I’m finding that with a less than full case, the ES/SD goes up. But, with a fuller case using a book max...
Loaded 50 rds of 7-08 to go shoot steel and started a load work up using some CCI250 primers rather than 200.
I want see how the ES/SD is affected with the superformance powder.

I'm not going too quickly but not slow either. I'll get a shot off every 30-60 sec or so. If I'm at public range I usually let the guy to the left of me shoot his braked 338 Lapua and the guy to the right dump his AR mag.
I've been nothing but pleased with mine. It's quiet, lightweight, functional, and boring; just like I want all my stuff to be. Does it's job and I don't even know it's there.
Work days:
Kirkland Greek yogurt (I was so pumped when it came back. Couldn’t stand another day eating that Fage crap)
Blackberries
Protein shake
I typically eat this around 10am
Non work days:
Maybe a couple eggs or a protein bar and a banana.
