My understanding the weather can take drastic swings. We will be driving so should have space for adequate clothing and accessories. Curious to hear opinions on layers and what you absolutely need versus other optional pieces.
I have never hunted Colorado so here is what I already have access to:
Kuiu Attack and Guide pants
Merino base, mid layers and short sleeve shirts
A couple puffys
A few strong fleece pieces in various weights
I’m wanting to upgrade my rain gear would like opinions
Schnee Timberlines
Hoka Tor ultra high - super lightweight and fast, but only provides limited ankle support
Additionally, my 70 year old father will be hunting. And suggestions to make him more comfortable would be appreciated. I will be primary sherpa and secondary shooter.
Thanks for the help
