Shraggs. I am in the same boat as you and live about 20-25 minutes from you. I have done about 10-12 backpack hunts and I am going to to Newfoundland next year moose hunting solo. If that’s something your interested in let me know.
Who would have ever guessed that it would so hard to get...
I have owned a few of them. I believe that they are the perfect starter bow. They are smooth, forgiving and easy to shoot. I think everyone should have one to play around with. Be careful though that exact model of bow has caused me to become a trad junkie.
Sometimes it is just fun to try new things. I like telling my buddies all about how the SB is supposed to the best BH design out there. Kinda makes me feel smart I my own little way. Anyways I need the shoot some more critters with SB.

I prefer what shoots like my field points. Here are the two that fly great for me, Magnus 125 singer and my new favorite is the Aboyer 200gr single bevel. My neighbor makes them and I like shooting a head knowing who made it. It just adds to the the kill. The last dear I shot with the Aboyer...

I have memorized my gap, so now I guess it is kinda like muscle memory. My focus is always were my arrow is going to impact. Maybe think of it as memorizing the arc of my arrows flight. Before each shot imagine the arrows arc.
