For every round fired you should have ten hours of good dry firing.
At least that's what the guy that really worked with me on shooting says. I'm inclined to agree with him since he shot on the Olympic Team in 1968 and I figure he knows what he's talking about.

In town, or of town, or in between, I wear camo quite often but not in matching sets.
Jeans and a camo button down dress shirt is a common look for me so I don't think I'm out of place wearing camo rain gear all year long. It works for me but may not work for everyone. To each their own.
Spot on.
I'd also look in to reloading if it were me. Just saying.
The rifles I use past 500 yards have never seen a factory round outside of the 20 to 50 round break in.
I tend to use highly compressible gear. That saves me space. I can do 7 days with my Kuiu 5200 easy providing I have a water source. Packing in water, in the desert, gets old, is heavy, and it takes up too much room. I take the bare minimum usually and just rough it. What's a tent? The only...
I'm glad to finally understand where some folks are coming from regarding Kuiu.
No disrespect meant by using the word flatlander. I have a friend in Florida that is as proud as can be that he lives on high ground. All twelve feet above sea level. :)
