So I've been doing some research on different rain gear sets and people keep talking about getting rain gear in solid colors. What's the benefit of having rain gear in solid color vs camo? I know probably a dumb question I just can't seem to figure it out.

Wearing it year round where you would prefer to not be dressed in camo.

Others just genuinely don't like Camo.

Other than that there are no benefits.

I get it in a solid because I wear my rain gear far less than my other hunting clothes which are camo so that way I can get more use out of it wearing year round.

I am with Luke, I like solids and try to get most of my outdoor clothes in solids as I use them for more than just hunting throughout the year. It's also a lot cheaper to purchase.

In town, or of town, or in between, I wear camo quite often but not in matching sets.
Jeans and a camo button down dress shirt is a common look for me so I don't think I'm out of place wearing camo rain gear all year long. It works for me but may not work for everyone. To each their own.

I bought a solid color rain jacket in an earth tone. Covers your bases that way. Also game lose visibility in rain same as us, and people have been harvesting without camo for eons.
