I highly doubt it is discontinued. Probably just a glitch on the website. It is a very popular piece in their lineup.

As stated above battery life. My biggest issue with electronics in the backcountry is the batteries that go with them. If someone constantly uses a GPS all day they will use a set of batteries a day on most units. I usually set the truck and camp and leave the GPS off the rest of the time. My in...
Start working your biggest muscle groups first. Your body will produce testosterone naturally, not quite at the level it did when you were younger. I would do this for a couple months and get your level checked again.

I would strive for under 4 inches. I would hope this is doable for you but 1 moa groups at that distance is sometimes difficult to obtain with a factory gun with factory ammo.
Some guys think that if they shoot a 1 moa group they should shoot that group at all distances. This isn't really the...
A 450 grain Easton Axis with a Waccem up front [emoji1] . I do have a 270 wsm that I only use lead free in. I have a friend who is a game warden and as of right now they are not going to be cutting open bullets, it will just be a visual inspection. Based on visual inspection the GMX is very...
While most of us agree clean shot is always what we should strive for, sometimes you might hit a little off your mark. I'm sure most of us have had a shot that didn't hit exactly where we wanted it to. Certain bullets will transfer energy(expand) differently at different impact velocities.
I...
I agree with Steve on this. Anything with any elevation will probably still have quite a bit of snow. Depending on how late we get snow this winter.
This doesn't mean the trip won't be benificial but animals tend to get pushed down by the snow and then follow the snow line back up as it melts...
If you are wanting lead free I would try the Barnes TTSX. The trophy copper by federal and the gmx are also good lead free bullets.
Be aware with solids you will not get the fast energy transfer as other bullets. This means getting a shot in the vitals is crucial. A ton of guys complain about...
Contact Shawn at defensive edge. He is in that part of the state.
I would go with a trigger, stock and the best scope you can buy. Depending on what you intend to do with the gun a smith should be able to help you make the right decisions and not just try to sell you something.

264 will burn more powder, shorter barrel life and be harder to find reloading components for. It will have a higher BC but out to about 500 it's won't make that big of a difference.
The 25/06 is built off an 06 case which is a proven shooter. In a pinch you could resize 270 win brass, if you...
I think it all depends on the gun. I shot some incredible groups this year at distance with virgin brass. That being said I don't think virgin brass will always be 100% consistent. If you use fire formed brass from that gun you can guarantee you won't have as bad of inconsistencies.

My daughter shoots a m70 extreme and it is a great rifle. That being said as said above savage 11 or 16, ruger American and Tikka make good guns if the feel good to you. I personally don't like the way these guns feel in hand. They feel cheap to me. Not saying they are cheap I just personally...
