Then you will be moving to bending and wobbly outserts down the road.
If you want to get away from bending on the FMJ’s go to an all carbon. The Easton Hexx in a 330 spine or 260 spine with brass H inserts.
They are darn near as tight on tolerances as the FMJ’s

Switch to Q2i vanes
Excellent adhesion qualities and the bases make for a very clean application.
For me the AAE’s are very overrated

Lots of variables no doubt.
However, the right tune, the right amount of helical and fletching combo, with the right broadheads and it’s definitely possible to get them grouping together out to 100 yards with fieldpoints.
Can’t even remember the last time I’ve broadhead tuned any of my bows...
Although the Evolve cams are really forgiving to spine the length of the insert doesn’t hurt either and at 26.5” raw shaft it reacts more like 24.5” raw shaft. Combination of a few things pave the way for a great tune still

Archery Pal
I find it a good happy medium and matches fairly well when running the numbers long hand.
96 grains over IBO arrow weight = -32 fps
28” draw = -20 fps
Weight on string -4 fps
Total is - 56 fps
Add that to 296 fps chrono readings = 352 IBO

Tech tip for what it’s worth
I get asked quite a bit how to fix a vertical tear, being it low or high if cams are hitting dead nuts the same. Whether it’s spine, grip stance etc, you may encounter this at some point during your tuning process in the years to come. With PSE’s Evolve cams, don’t...
Here’s the specs on the Easton D6 FMJ 330’s with 175 gr of weight up front.
From a 456 gr arrow to a 501 gr arrow you get a jump of 4-5 fps when doing the math. Just shows you how efficient the Evolve cams are, not to mention the ease of draw to performance.

The PSE Evoke 80# is finally dialed in. Not much time lately but this combo is finding the middle rather easy. 20 yards and 60 for the sight tape, then checking at 100 yards was money.
The Invasion amongst others have been dethroned. This will probably be the most overlooked bow for...
The tip weight is the controlling factor and will want to get behind the powerstroke so you are chasing that tip impact point with the rest so rest and powerstroke are in line.
No difference when twisting the yokes or shimming cams, you are just making opposite end adjustments so powerstroke...
I may have to test these out both the Deep Six option and standard. Those would both work well with my 70 and 80# Evokes.
Pricey but may have to bite

Once you understand the why’s it’s easy to put all the pieces together. From that point, you will find that the different tuning methods don’t really contradict themselves at all. Once you have clean bareshaft flight with no tail end deviations you can check all other tuning methods and find...
So your telling us to fix a tail right condition your going to recommend to anyone that asks, you would move your rest to the right, or shim cams to the left, or add a twist to the left yoke ?

Yes, it’s true
Compensation in other areas is all one is accounting for. If the rest is not in line with said powerstroke you will not be true at all the given distances down range.

No
What usually happens is one is trying to compensate for the wrong particular grip stance for a given bow and tune. Then they shoot one distance, generally 40 yards or less. The broadhead and field points get within an inch or two and they call it good. Only to find out later they are...
In tuning there is not some bows that tune better with the rest moved one direction and other bows will be the opposite.
When looking at rest adjustments think about the path of the powerstroke. The tip weight will always want to get behind or in front of that path. So when your bareshaft or...
A tail left is bareshaft impact right of fletched or broadheads would also impact right same as bareshaft. You would move rest to the right and follow bareshaft and broadhead.
Twisting the left yoke where applicable is another option when tuning to a desired centershot.
Shimming cams to the...
