Love this spotter for the money. I picked one up a 65A a year ago for $390. Thought I would try it before I spent big dollars. I was just out taking a few pics with it.
Nice Idea we have used the plastic kids bob sleds and they work well. Hows the bottom holding up? We always wear holes in ours. We thought about making one out of some sort of teflon sheeting that might hold up better.
I love the cork handles. The don't get slippery, don't get cold, and seem to have better grip then any synthetic. I would go with the cork replacements.
My 2cents. The best way I have found is to let the quarters cool down, debone the quarters then put the meat in a Kifaru meat bag then hang it in the pack and cinch it down laying flat on the ground.. You will get much more meat in the bag and don't have to haul out the excess bone weight. Why...
The only thing I don't like about the knee pads is that they ride a little on the low side. If I was taller it wouldn't matter. I did take a 3/4" hole saw and drilled a series of holes in the knee pads. This lightened them up by 1/3 and made them a little more flexible.

I have been wearing the timberlines for quite a while and wont wear anything else while hunting. I also have a pair of solid color timberlines to hike in during the off season.
What animal QTRs are you carrying. There is a big difference between a deer and a elk. I can pack out 80lbs of deboned elk comfortably in my DT1bag with the bikini frame.
I bought a box of these 6mil bags after last season. They are 20" X 36" 6mil poly bags. The fit perfect in my DT1 pack with enough length on top after filled to put a zip tie around the top. If anyone wants any shoot me a pm I will get them to you for what they cost me plus shipping. Nice heavy...
I have always been a proponent of Stewardship and not transfer without stewardship only rights. There is a big difference between the two. When money and greed are thrown into the mix all parties involved get their hands dirty. Politicians landowners big business right on down the line. I can...
