Looking to design a pack for day hunts to 5 day hunts. Needs to be able to adjust to carry multiple mule deer quarters and gear. Here's my thoughts:

Bikini frame
Cargo panel
Camp bag
Two large pockets (or best way to utilize space on csrgo panel webbings.

What's your thoughts on this?

Also does anyone carry there bow between cargo panel and Frame?

What is your goal for using the cargo panel with the camp bag compared to a more traditional pack such as the DT1?

BTW I have a camp bag in highlander I'll be selling shortly.

I'm afraid the more traditional pack will no let me achieve the space of carrying multiple quarters. Every pic I see is either boned out meat or one quarter.

Also I would like a chance at that camp bag when available. Thanks

Multiple deer quarters? 2 rears will fit in a dt1 but it will be a little snug. The way the emr 2 opens up is probably your best bet. But I am also pretty partial to having an actual bag. The setup you are talking about would definitely work.

Why the bikini? See alot of guys on here pick it, probably because its a pound or two lighter, and they are on here tryin to trade it for a duplex. According to Aron, the extra weight of the duplex gives you 30% plus comfort on heavy loads......Honestly i dont own either, but after a little studying on here im bout to pull the trigger on a duplex.

I've had a bikini since it was first released and think it is perfect, I haven't used a duplex but I also see no need to change from the bikini to the duplex. I picked up the cargo panel and a camp bag this year, it will do what your asking easily. I can mount up 3 KU pockets on the inside of the panel and a large side pocket and med pocket on the outside panel.

I'm really liking this setup.

I am a duplex guy. I am lazy when it comes to packing and don't like having to worry about bulging through the gap on the bikini.

I had the bikini frame for a year and really liked it. Super comfortable and carries quite a load with ease. However, I had issues when I carried north of 75# (probably more my issues than the bikini frame) and switched to the duplex. Haven't thought about the bikini since. Both frames are head and shoulders above anything else. Just take the time to fit the frame to your body and you should be good to go for a very long time.

Can you put two large side pockets on the outside the cargo panel? That was my hopes. Thanks for the opinions guys!

No way, the large side pockets are huge and you barely have enough room for a med belt pocket under one large side pocket.

You can get a back pouch from the Rhino Den and run it on top of a large side pocket but that would be kind of pointless for easy access to the outside items. The back pouch fits on the inside though and you can still add the top connection points for another pocket below it. Then you could move this to the outside over the large side pocket when hauling meat.

What animal QTRs are you carrying. There is a big difference between a deer and a elk. I can pack out 80lbs of deboned elk comfortably in my DT1bag with the bikini frame.

I carry a bow between a cargo panel and an EMR2. I haven't hunted with it yet, but have carried it on a couple easy, low-grade hikes. My bows took a beating the last couple years in alders and rocks, so I went with a cargo panel for a bit more protection than just a Grab-It.

How about fitting two large belt pouches on the back of the csrgo panel. Stacked on top each other like a Timberlane bag

Bikini, Nomad, Camp Bag, and Grab-it II for the bow. Almost seems like somebody built it with precisely your trip in mind.

It even has the two large pockets you are looking for.

I run Duplex/Nomad/Guide Lid/Grab-It2 with 2 medium pockets inside/ My "Camp Bag" is an old North Face Rucksack with the straps removed.
The Rucksack fits my Bag/4 man tipi/ food/ Perfectly. Problem is the rucksack is a bit heavy compared to the Kifaru Camp Bag in my future.
Perfect set up for your needs.
I have looked at the Cargo panel but Just do not have the need.
