    This.. The ole hammer test can tell you how bad it is, but its highly possible to still have a good frame. If the suspension has never been replaced, expect to use a torch and break some stuff. Hope you have a welder cuz you might need one. Buy new Ubolts since you gotta take those off anyway...

    If you've never shot a 170 class deer, then you shouldn't take that bet. Judging in the field is harder than most realize. I also don't have enough western hunting under belt to know if thats a bet worth taking

    Tripod head recommendations

    I've used Sirui and Really Right Stuff fluid ballheads. but only for rifle shooting. I think if you set the pretension they're pretty great. I know a lot of people seem to like the pan head with the lever but I feel like a fluid ballhead will be smoother and more stable

    Dang it Dudley!

    Dudley actually has multiple videos covering form and technique. He seems to redo a video on something every 2 years. Dud seems really committed to getting people shooting with good form and knows that if someone sees a 5 or 6 year old video, they'll skip it in favor of a 3-9month old video.
