In the market for a zero turn. I have 4 acres but mow about 1 - 1 1/2 of that maybe eventually 2. I've watched countless reviews and I think I'll probably get the Bad Boy ZT Elite 54 or 60 in.
What is everyone using and your pros and cons?
I've looked at scag, toro, gravely and others.

I've bought a few recently and went with commercial models that had rebuildable transmissions. My local small engine repair shop had similar things to say as the guy in the attached video.

I've watched a bunch of his. Whatever I get it'll have the serviceable transmissions.

I bought a lightly used exmark pioneer in 2020, its 52", slightly underpowered at 19hp, and still cuts my 2 acres in about 60 minutes. If/when I need another I'll look hard at scag and the pro level exmarks

On 21st year of cutting 10 acres of yards and often cutting fields for food plots with a Grasshopper 227. 62 inch cut. She's beat to hell, but still cuts like a banchee.

I had a Exmark for a few years and had nothing but engine problems and they never really figured out why. The cut was phenomenal, but the engine sucked. Bought a Grasshopper and it's been a beast since day 1! Cutting about 3 acres with numerous trees and fence lines take about 2 hours.

What's your budget?
We run commercial grade John Deere diesels for the grounds at the community college I work for. They retail over $30K. But we get them considerably cheaper through the state purchase program. The little diesels run forever, but all the electronic crap Deere put on them has caused problems.

Not anywhere close to that. $6000 is my budget.
