Normally when i do my deer its 1-5 days after i shoot it. Just depends on when i feel like cutting it up. When doing burger i barely cut sinew off anymore. A sharp grinder doesnt care. Hell, sometimes there will be hair in the burger. I stopped overthinking the processing and worrying about everything, now its a family event.

I try to not just get it done anymore but get as many hands in the process as i can. If i get a hair or 2 in my burger, who cares. If i eat a tiny chunk of lead, so be it.

Sometimes less is more. Step out, be an underachiever, and see what works for you.
