Savage 111 in 7mm mag that I got in a trade for some work with Bushnell DOA 600 4-12. I haven't killed anything with it yet, but it makes a decent "Beater gun". Shoots pretty good, but I'm thinking of adding a heavy contour 28" stainless barrel to help with the long range shooting.P1010021.jpg

You need to read thru all the posts. As I said before I've been packing an x bolt for the last 5 years. I love it.

Yes, sorry for posting that again, I missed that. Thanks for your post, they look like very nice guns and I like the way it felt.

I really enjoy mine. I looked at Tikka, Savage and a bunch of others when I got it. The x bolt just felt better in my hands.

Wapiti_Harvest,

How do like your 375 H&H, is the recoil tolerable?

Ole heavy is my Sako Kodiak ported in a McMillan Swirly. 375 H&H topped with a Swarovski Z6I 1-6x24 BRT-I.

Stid,

How do you like that Sako, it looks nice. How heavy is it.
I have been looking at a .375 H&H rifle.
