Luke, have you done any work to the Browning to lighten it up?

Savage 111 in 7mm mag that I got in a trade for some work with Bushnell DOA 600 4-12. I haven't killed anything with it yet, but it makes a decent "Beater gun". Shoots pretty good, but I'm thinking of adding a heavy contour 28" stainless barrel to help with the long range shooting.

Nope, just lopped 5" off the end of the barrel.

You need to read thru all the posts. As I said before I've been packing an x bolt for the last 5 years. I love it.

Well, here's my first generation Rem 700 Ti in .260 that I use when I backpack for deer. Have another in 30-06 for elk.

I really enjoy mine. I looked at Tikka, Savage and a bunch of others when I got it. The x bolt just felt better in my hands.
