Marlin 30-30, was so proud of it!! It was a Christmas present from my parents when i believe around 8 or 9! just got my son a 6arc for his first deer rifle!

Nothing like a R700 in .243 for a first rifle! Rebarreled with a CF .260rem barrel down the road. Got a hankering for handloading and accuracy but still have the feel of my first deer gun.

Older Winchester 94 in 30-30 with a side-mount 4x optic. Sighting it in taught me what scope bite was, but it came through when needed.

Ruger M77 30/06, Bushnell scope. I’ve had it over 40 years, scope still spot on.. killed a lot of deer with that rifle.

Single shot Winchester 20 gauge. Not a rifle and not a good aiming system with just a bead. My first decent deer gun was an old style Ruger m77 in 6mm Rem.
