Your first deer rifle?

Hoping to secure tags for my first deer season. Better late than never, right? If all goes well, I'll be using a Browning XBolt Max SPR in 6.5CM topped with a VX3HD 3.5-10x50 and SiCo 46M can in chode mode.

Happy to confirm this is in fact my first deer rifle. Didn't get a trophy by any means, but I got meat in the freezer for the first time in my life, the evening before I turned 38.

My first deer rifle was a Marlin 30-30 and I added a Simmons Whitetail scope to it. Bought it for $170.00. It was the first firearm purchase when I turned 18. Still a go-to gun depending where I'm hunting.
