Thinking about getting a new compound. Will still shoot my recurve most of the time

Heard good things from Xpedition, never shot one nor have I had a chance to. Won't be able to buy until most likely late fall/winter sometime as I need to save up some money.

Xcentric 7 65# would be used mainly for hunting and some 3D

Thinking the Easton FMJ Injexion shafts in 330 spine, would throw the steel HIT in there but use the Firenock Aeroutsert so I can use normal heads. 125 grain VPA's and possibly Solid's

Have always owned Mathews, had a terrible experience with their customer service and won't own one again. My main concern is accuracy and quietness, hence the "heavier" arrow.

Any thoughts?

The Xcentric 7 is an awesome bow. Smooth, fast, accurate. They are plenty quiet also. It'd make a great 3D/Hunting bow.

The arrow set up that you're thinking of, however, would be under spined. Too much weight up front for that arrow in my opinion. Even at 65#. That'd be 175gr up front set up like that. Could be a little tough to get to tune. Not impossible, but tough. I'd suggest not even putting the HIT insert in the shaft if you are going to use the outserts.

FWIW I'm a 28.5 inch draw and sho0t 330 FMJ Injexions out of a 70# Element. I use VAP Penetrator II outserts, 55gr, and 125gr broadheads. Arrows are cut at 28 inches. I have no issues tuning them.

Jacob, Sure did. Ordered strait from Kurt. Got all sorts of goodies. Hydro holster, meat sack, hip pouches, Camp pouch. Not to mention Kurt is one hell of a nice guy. Sure has helped me out alot.

Jacob, look into Black Eagles. Im going to run Black Eagle Rampage arrows. 350 spine 8.2gns per inch and Run 52gn half outs and 100gn tip. TONS of FOC.

I must change my reply. I've became and owner of these bows and have absolutely fell in love. I deserve to eat crow

Buddy sent me 1 from Michigan to try out great bow but tuff pill For me to swallow for who the bow designer is. I prefer not to give him any $ when I'm going elk hunting with a fella he still owes 30k to and won't pay it

I have an xcentric 29" draw and shoot goldtip velocity xt with 100 gr. Tips. Awesome bow and lights out past 70 yds. I don't even have a stabilizer on it.

i can honestly say its the bow ive been waiting for. Ive had mine about 5 months now and usually would have traded or sold it by now, as of right now i have no intentions of getting rid of it!! Great bow, feels awesome on the shot and love the draw cycle.
