Wyoming Unit 89 - Bears

First time coming to Unit 89 for general rifle. Grizzly’s aren’t a big concern but we are spike camping and I’d like local input or those familiar with unit on local bear population. Haven’t seen any reports.

Very few grizzly down that way. I wouldn't worry

We saw bear tracks every day but not grizzlies.

I heard one was accidentally shot down there. I have hunted there but never came across grizz sign.

Bears are no concern there

I was just on the border of that unit, I would be prepared for bears. they are coming that way.

Seen multiple bears in there this year. Be bear aware and keep a clean camp and you should be fine
