I've seen that written before. Given his lack of tact and condescension towards those he interacts with, I have a hard time believing it. I would like to think that someone in that position would be able to conduct themselves in a respectful and thoughtful manner.

Oh and posing with one of his sheep drawn as a non resident. Like I said, he already got his as a non resident, so what does he care…

Believe he was a resident when he drew that tag, he said earlier he got it in 2019, so by law he’s done with sheep in WY.

And he’s the leadership of BHA in WY.
Interestingly enough the wyoming chapter has never weighed in on 90-10...and has zero to do with this entire discussion.

Resident hunting issue...passed by the work of resident hunters by our legislature at the recommendation of our task force.

That's how it works...now you know.

If you WY folks keep this up you might just get what you want and have more people moving there and hunting on the same uncapped OTC tags every year.

Yep, I'll be moving myself and my wife and two kids to Wyoming a little over a year from now. Just waiting until I have 30 years in at my job so I can retire.

We don’t want you to hunt here but please support us and make corner crossing legal again, lol, it’s hilarious to me.
I think plenty of residents want you to hunt here with 10% of our big 5 tags.

Nothing has changed with deer, elk, and pronghorn.

Get after it.

Did you take a vote of residents or was it just a few that made the decision?

Yeah we know BHA didn’t say a word either way but do to your position it kind just automatically gets to hold that card of acceptance when it’s leadership pushed it even if separate from that roll.

I do care...I still apply in Arizona for a rocky mountain bighorn. I reentered the draw in 2013 with 2 points right out of the gate. Already up to 11 for Rockies now...I drew desert with 11. I'm feeling real good about my chances to draw another sheep tag in Arizona this year. 11 is my lucky number.

Oh and guess what else as a nr I'm limited to "up to 10%" of the sheep tags there.

I haven't threatened to file a lawsuit or called the residents of Arizona greedy either.

See how that works?

Nothing for now that is, with the possible push one has to decide to risk it and stay in the game or exclude it. It isn’t where I hunt annually and I have ops to elk and deer hunt so writing it off wouldn’t be hard but if it wasn’t a great state to hunt no one would care.

Sounds like BHA's track record, collect dues but keep their mouth shut when it comes to losing hunting rights

We live in a representative republic, this issue was not a ballot initiative, so no each citizen did not vote.

Passed through the legislative process.

Wrong.

Correct answer is let the residents of the state decide what's best for our wildlife.

Same luxury you're afforded in your state of residence.
