I thought you said these were turning to oil or did you draw it many years ago and still want to take away further opportunities from residents in WY that haven’t ever drawn?

I thought you were stepping out of the game for big 5 animals you’ve been lucky enough to hunt, giving others an op?

Oh wait, your only done with sheep since that was recent and with the change you’ll be out, you’ll glad take a tag from a resident that you’ve been lucky enough to hunt when so few residents will ever get an opportunity.
Only if I pull a random tag this year will it be taking a tag from a resident. Next year and every year after it will be a non residents tag I take....if only obviously. I won't feel bad about it either. Living and working in wyoming has very few perks.

What’s interesting is those that can impulsively hammer away at this topic, like keyboard warriors, going back and forth, each in a savant-like state, yet socially tone deaf.

Seems to be quite a bit of negativity with all the repetitive “I” - “you” - “you’re” - “your”……
Kind of like the ones who have had their opportunities at these supposed OIL tags several times and are still trying to draw more of them, and have now pushed legislation to keep others from drawing those tags they themselves have multiple times. Some people.

Im sure working for the federal government as a laborer in wyoming as someone who likes hunting has been very difficult.

If that makes you feel better keep telling yourself that but last I checked only residents get resident tags, you’ll be taking a tag from a resident plain and simple, one that hasn’t had the amazing opportunities you have.

Unless your leaving WY to reside in another state.

Not going to feel one bit guilty if I draw another moose tag here. Doubt it will happen, but if it does so be it. If I do draw one of the additional 900 tags nr will receive over the next 10 years because of pushing this legislation...I think that's a pretty good deal for the other 899 residents.

Most likely I'm never drawing again and I'm fine with that too.

For those thinking a Bonus Point system is a great thing - it’s not what it’s all cracked up to be.

Does it give a chance that you may not have had before? Sure.

And you could easily die before you draw a tag.

But you’ll die knowing you had a chance. Haha!!

Does this mean I will draw my resident big 5 tags sooner?

Haha, nope.

What would drastically increase your odds is removing all residents that drew in previous seasons from the pool, not just those recently. The NR pool was small to start with.

I can't resist.
Here is a cheese platter to go with all the whine.
Eh, not really whining. More like frustration. Imagine buying points for 2+ decades knowing that your just about there, only to be told another 15+ years.

If nothing else is gleaned, think long and hard before spending money and time on something that could easily be changed in the future.

In a nutshell for those not keeping up.

Living in Wyoming sucks and is hard. (Don’t go there)

Residents are the rightful owners of all the tags.

If you can’t afford it screw you, go be poor in your own state.

Good news is spring is almost here.

Are you this arrogant in real life or just behind a computer screen?
