Wyoming Non Res Units?

I'm looking at getting some antlerless tags for my family as well
using the go hunt map and unit descriptions and the chart that noodler provided you can see what units and where, however they are all high private property areas
i am coming from washington state and looks like it would be best for me to drive in from i90 so the north side of the state
units 109,15,16,17 all have easy tag opportunity, its just the access that would be a question mark

anyone with experience with these particular units?

being from Northeast Wyoming...I'm in Gillette...I will tell you there are antelope every around here. There are two things you need to keep in mind if you look at how many tags are available here. Area 17 and 23 have almost 2,000 tags each, but this year they changed the tags up a bunch. For area 23, they have 1,300 type 1 (Buck) tags, but 1,000 of them are only good on private land, and the rest are good on public. There are not a lot of private land owners around here that will let you hunt on their land with our paying a trespass fee and or a trophy fee either. Northeast Wyoming is mostly private land, and a lot of the public land you see on the map is land locked by private land. Make sure you do your research before blowing a big chunk of money on tags, and end up with either the wrong tag, or no place to hunt.

Wyoming has some of the weirdest tag regulations. You can have 1 unit for a specific animal and there can be 8 different tags, covering a wide range of season dates and specific areas. For instance area 22 type 6 tag, in September is only good North of a specific creek, but in October is good in the entire area. Make sure you read the regulations and find out which area and specific dates work for you. The same goes for deer and elk tags. You could have a late season elk tag that is open for 2 months, but those two months are broke down into two or three different season dates. I hunted 16 two years ago, but its been my only western hunt so far, so I can't really compare it to anything. I was able to find enough land to hunt on with the aid of a gps, but I went late in the season during the week, so I didn't have much competition. If it were crowded, I could see it turning into quite a zoo.

Depends what your expectations are, I suppose, but if you just want to hunt, probably fine.

Maybe I'm dumb.... but i dont see anything yet for tag quotas or hunting regulations?

Thanks for linking to the tag numbers. Bummed to see some of my usual units I can pick up leftovers in went down in tag count compared to last year.
