Wyoming Elk 2026 - Will 6 points guarantee a west region general tag?

Right now a friend is going to share his points, and we would hunt an area I hunted some years back. We will average out at 7. Kinda feel bad for him dumping 10+ years. Maybe throw him a few bills, but Inguess the trade off is a proven area.

Just went special in the West last night. Got an opportunity to hunt a good place and can't afford to not draw. Going into special with 5 points.
