BTW. Elk mountain reservoir (to the east) has some fantastic fish. Apparently several big ones escape from a richy rich stocked pond and make it to the reservoir via Halleck Creek. Just follow Rattlesnake Road east. The reservoir is on state land and has public parking. I caught some monsters ice fishing in the early 2000’s. I bet it’s the ponds upstream on the same assholes land. Go shoot one of “his” elk and catch a bunch of “his” fish
