I hope we find out pretty quick about these- anyone have any insight as to when the date will be? All I have heard is tentatively May 21st.

Wyoming typically posts results on the day they say they will. Expect to see them Thursday late morning.

It’s been a long wait! I’m in the same boat of anticipated results - fingers crossed

Over the last 5-6 years they have stated results will be available at 11am CST on a particular date. They have been posted at the exact date and time but this year they have different language and use the word tentative. I'm guessing they are just covering their tail in the event Covid forced them to adjust work schedules or something. I would bet the results are up at 11am CST Thursday. FYI- The website typically gets over loaded during the first 15-30 minutes.

You had my hopes up with the thread title...

In my experience the past 3 years they've always posted spot on 10AM MST on the advertised day. This year is a slightly different process and world situation so who knows...

They've only had FOUR MONTHS(!) to do the draw!

Come on Bob. Don't be an apologist for them. The whole timeline for non-res Wyoming elk this year was silly. Why not just apply in April and get results a month later?

My hunting partner and I applied for general tags and then he went and knocked his wife up and she’s due mid September. So I changed my app to a limited entry draw. I’m not optimistic but would be a great surprise:)

Now there’s another very solid reason that the timing is terrible! “Let’s make the application deadline 9 months prior to the elk rut”...

I was in the same boat last year for elk and almost missed the state resident deer opener. My daughter came one day before my mother in law picked up my new daughter and wife from the hospital.

What's funny is Nevada draw results are coming out right now, and the applications weren't due til May 4th. I'm going deer hunting in Nevada according to my bank account. You can thank the WYOGA for the early apps and late results

Not just silly, It's worse than what they had. Should have just combined it with the rest of the E/D/A draws but if you've watched that meeting, you know the Commission discounted virtually all of the nr comments that were submitted and instead believed sy gillilands take on what nr want, and here we are.
