I was listening to the radio while on a drive the other day and the disc jockey comes on and says "Okay, what are the top 5 things that every guy should own.........the list is coming right up". So I'm thinking to myself......."Okay, number one.......a gun. Number two.......a good knife. Number three.......a truck. I start to think of number four and he comes back on with the list. I can't even remember number 5 because it was worse than the first four.

1. A well fitting suit.
2. A coffee table book.
3. A bottle opener.
4. A set of head phones.

What on earth has our country come to?

Why the hell do you need a bottle opener? I learned how to open beer without one in college, you know, life skills.

Is a good coffee table book the modern day equivalent of a hunting magazine by the shitter?

I have a well fitting suit, it's made by Sitka.

Wow, a coffee table book? Headphones? What about a good knife, a quality watch or a set of tools?

The suit I can understand as there are times when a man should look like a gentleman. Also, look at old photos and men were usually in suits, or well dressed anyway.

I can understand a suit.......I own enough of them, but where have all the men gone in our society today. Makes me sick watching all the pansies running our country. Watching everyone cave to political correctness. By the way.......anybody got an extra Confederate flag laying around that they don't want anymore. I'm Colorado born and raised, but I'll fly the Confederate flag in my yard even if the state houses now refuse to. And I'll fly it right next to that hate-mongering flag called "Old Glory".

Wow ! Just wow ! 5milesback , did you happen to be driving in San Francisco ? I know the feminization of America was getting out of hand but reading this makes me think that the young women I've hit it with in the last few years weren't exaggerating when they said there are no real men their age.

It really is sad, that radio host was serious. Heck half the city guys I know from work don't even know how to change their own oil. When I talk about being in the woods hunting they think I'm crazy but you can tell their inner man that has been suppressed by the vaginitis they have is still there just hidden as they all wish they had the balls to do it.

Good stuff men! I see it in youth sports too.

When I played T-ball on the mid'80s we kept score and if you got three outs then the inning was over. Now you can't call them out. Hogwash!

I got one for you.....My sister is married to a real city boy. She was in New York and the fire alarms starting chirping and going off in the middle of the night. It freaked him out so he called an electrician. They came right over. Told him they all needed to be replaced because he let the batteries go bad. $1,800 later, he has new fire alarms. (they got money) I laughed for 3 days and still laugh about that.
