Would you buy this scope?

The $999 scope that couldn't be made, or so we were told. If these three scopes are what I believe they are, we all win! Form and I set out to create a hunting scope that simply works, and at a price that nearly everyone can afford. If they pass the drop test It will set a new standard. A big thank you to the company that stepped up and said, "Let's do it!"

@Ryan Avery, the big question, are there mirrors on the ceiling in your room?

😀

There are multiple small design items that can be seen, that correct issues on other scopes:

Short elevation turret? Index finger touching the tube. It’s not tall.

Low profile windage- no problem.

Since I am a lefty, that low profile windage turret sure is appealing. The turret on the SWFA scopes often digs into my side when the rifle is in the gun bearer. ✅ S2H

With the lighting and the textured wall here it was difficult to get a clear picture of the reticle.

@Formidilosus: I remain unconvinced by your “MIL is clearly better” argument. I might argue that it’s easier to lessen the first time, and that I should teach my children it.

What’s unequivocal is that your reticle is clear and clean and useful! BZ! Well executed. Enough so that I might consider switching over from 40+ years of MOA and inherently understanding my wind holds.

Can’t wait to see it in the flesh.

Can’t wait to see the 2-8x36 (or even 2-10x).

You might consider switching?
End of the line posser. No scope for you!

Those 0.1 mrad hashmarks will be a single blur in twilight/under stress.

Remove .1-.2-.3-.4-.6-.7-.8-.9
That will leave whole and half.

It also makes it possible to trade off hashmark line height and gain significantly larger numbers.

Simple changes that makes a noticable difference for the shooter.

Are there really no dodgy forum members at SHOT who can do a trip-grab-run?

I'm happy to see the turret indexing 0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5. That seems to help my brain go even faster than if the labels are just 1, 2, etc. Minor detail, but I hope y'all keep it that way.

This scope looks great.

Looks neat. I'm not even going to ask for a moa version.

As for dropping it on the SHOT floor......back in the early 2000's a client told us how their entire staff ended up with new IBM/Lenovo computers and laptops. Both the Dell and IBM salesmen were in a meeting going head to head about various features and looking dead even. At the end of the meeting, as the story was told to me and the guy I worked for at the time, the IBM guy said 'well, will the Dell handle this?' and threw his IBM laptop onto the floor. It survived. The Dell guy declined to participate. The client bought all IBM.

I wasn't there and didn't see it happen but every computer in that office was an IBM.

They just increased Form’s security detail based on the comment in your post!
