If we get our way, it will be more like a 2-8x36mm scope done right.

Out of curiosity why 36mm?
@Formidilosus @Ryan Avery have you heard how long it takes to receive them after the order is put in? It may not be popular opinion but i would pay for one before they put in the order just so i would have one. I don't want to have to set an alarm and fight a group of dudes trying to buy one. Because I'm sure theres a quite few guys that would buy multiple and they would sell out quick like maven or SWFA.
read "other than that how was the play Mrs. Lincoln?"fantastic scope from a form factor and use perspective- they just don’t hold zero, adjust, track, or return to zero.
Oh hell yeah!If we get our way, it will be more like a 2-8x36mm scope done right.
Even better, and a real differentiator. If we get our way, it will be more like a 2-8x36mm scope done right.
THIS is what I'm talking aboutIf we get our way, it will be more like a 2-8x36mm scope done right.
CorrectSorry, didn't wade through the entire thread... 3-18x44?
That makes sense to pair with the 3-18. I'd probably be a little less interested than a 4-12x40/42 but I would probably still get one for the weight savings. If we get our way, it will be more like a 2-8x36mm scope done right.
I agree but I think the 2-8x36 makes more sense to complement the 3-18x44. 3-12 or 4-12 would have too much overlap and probably not enough weight savings to really make it worth it.My vote would be 40-44 mm obj and 3-12 0r 3-15 0r 4-12 0r 4-16x for mag range.
They should do a presale...The scopes won’t be sold until they are meeting the requirements.
And, no- I do not think that the initial order will be large enough to meet demand. Without talking out of turn- they (S2H) have to pay for the scopes on receipt. I highly doubt they are going to order and hope 500 or 1,000 scopes sell quickly.
And this is why we can't have nice things.Look at the people on the rokstock thread just last week still complaining about stocks they are ordering that are not even late yet.
Pre-buys will just create a headache for them. Getting them on hand and selling out in a day is incredibly simple by comparison.
And this is why we can't have nice things.
I paid on day 1 for a LE Rokstok, and waited until it was delivered. Well until the substitute was delivered. And that one they painted it the wrong colors. Never heard a peep from me. I am happy.
So a new pre pay could go like this:
You pay in full. Sign and have noterized a contract that says, if you one time ask "are we there yet"?
You forfiet all your money, and are permently banned from RS.
Where do I send my letter and $$$?
Talk dirty to me.If we get our way, it will be more like a 2-8x36mm scope done right.
I’d buy the **** out of thatIf we get our way, it will be more like a 2-8x36mm scope done right.
