I disagree especially when it comes to customer set and/or warranty issues. I'm assuming that will be handled by the other company and not S2H. I think it will be a great option no matter whose name it's under but I do think it matters. It doesn't really matter whose name it's under, it's going to be tested properly...

To a degree, it will matter. I do think, however, that form putting his name behind an optic and the degree to which this optic will be scrutinized and tested will incentivize the MFG to have tighter QC.It doesn't really matter whose name it's under, it's going to be tested properly...

Supposedly $999. That's what Jake said on one of the recent podcasts. I might have to make a trip to Salt Lake for hunt expo to see it in person and the rokstok litehow much?
Bottom of the vertical stroke on the 'T' differs between the two.I do stuff like this for a living so it was only natural to look. Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe I’m not.
It does, I noticed that as well. Again, maybe wrong. Maybe not.Bottom of the vertical stroke on the 'T' differs between the two.

I have wondered why does an optics brand need to be involved at all? Why can’t S2H/UM spec the scope directly to LOW?I disagree especially when it comes to customer set and/or warranty issues. Their warranty/CS is great! Is vortex good?
It's a relationship thing, explained earlier in this thread (as well as several other places). Also discussed on a couple of S2H podcast episodes.I have wondered why does an optics brand need to be involved at all? Why can’t S2H/UM spec the scope directly to LOW?

Is it because they don’t have the manpower to handle warranty claims, is that the sole reason?
Is it for sales, that a pure S2H scope won’t sell as well as a brand name scope?
Is it anything to do with assembling the scope? Meaning LOW builds the parts to spec and an optics company assembles them?
I don’t really care, I think it’s going to be a great scope, but I have just been curious what the 3 headed dynamic is.
Not only good.Is vortex good?
