Would you buy this scope?

Yeah, that simplified THLR should be really awesome. The other runner up, in my book, would be a mil version of the Burris ballistic E3 reticle, with half mil windage subtensions.

The thick bottom post on the THLR is awesome. Why not run the tip of the big bottom post 0.2 mills of the center of the reticle. Keep the windage. I dont hold elevation when huntomg idk about you guys.

Expectations of what? If it’s having a usable reticle through all mag range, than if you were to look through it in person, you’d see it satisfied that.
Maybe, for looking into dark areas it would probably not work well. For now ill stick with sfp on my hunting guns.

Because a 3-12 sub 20oz scope made as we wanted was a ground up 2-3 year project and a pretty large upfront cost. Tough to do first when an option was available that would get a whole lot right that we didn’t like about what is currently on the market.
The 3-18x scopes in the market weren’t doing anything we wanted- however, something new was offered so that was chosen.

The amount of people that want to buy a 3-12x is significantly less than those who will buy a 3-18x done right. Ryan and I both want the scope that was originally posted about. However, it’s a long term deal. If these scopes (which we also wanted) do well, then there will be more coming in the future.
If we want the 3-12x on the 2-3 year timeline, is there anything we can do in addition to buying the 3-18x? Is there any way that the upfront cost could be shared by those that want to see this come to market?

Thanks for putting the time and effort into developing this and for involving us in the process.
