Would you buy this scope?

Probably a topic for another thread, but you mentioned your test rifle being bonded. Is there any bonding material that can be used for a factory Tikka stock or rokstock that won't destroy the bedding when removing the action (just removal for barrel replacement)

There is not. As rbutcher stated, you need two metal surfaces. And also as he stated, a properly bedded stock and action will hold zero.

Scope #3.

Same gun, ammo, rings.

Bore sighted. Two shots- high, read reticle and adjusted. Next 8 shots on the left dot.

Drop Portion:
Same gun, ammo, rings. Same terrain and mat placement- hard packed, frozen ground.

Shot on the same dot from above on the initial zero. 15x drops from 36”. No point of impact shift whatsoever.

Apparently rifles get more accurate when you drop them.

If you want to slap one of those on my rental 223 in June I wouldn’t be mad at ya

Usually when new scopes are presented there is excitement, but there is also some element of compromise. I’m not seeing any compromise here so far.

I think the compromise was the power range and weight from the original desired specs. Not a huge deal breaker in its current form by any means

Especially not if we end up getting a 2-8 or 2.5-10. Which might be easier to argue for since it would have less crossover with the 3-18.
